We have travel dates!

We finally received official confirmation that we will travel to China on August 12th, receive Madelyn on August 16th, and return home on August 27th. Now to the packing, booking airline reservations, hiring a house-sitter - dog feeder - plant waterer, etc.!

We thought we were traveling with a small group of families, but found out that we are going to travel with a couple who is getting triplets! We are also traveling with a family adopting their 7th child - and you thought we were crazy! With our large family included, we are now a huge travel group. The more the merrier!

We are thrilled that we will be able to celebrate Madelyn's first birthday (August 29th) at home with our boys. They are not traveling with us this time, but will be at the airport when we arrive home (exhausted) on the 27th.

Almost ready to go to China!

We are still waiting for our travel approval to arrive from China. Our agency thinks we will travel to China around August 11, 2005 to get our precious Madelyn Grace. Two of our children will travel with us, and Randy's parents are also planning to go. Madelyn is in the Taihe County Social Welfare Institute in Taihe, Jaingxi, China. Her birthday is August 29th, and we are excited about sharing her first birthday together as a family.

Our Molly Anne was born in Xian, China, and became a part of our family in August of 2003 at the age of 14 months. Check out the pictures of all of our beautiful children on this site!

We are frantically trying to finish all of the last minute baby projects around the house such as installing more baby gates and putting a fresh coat of paint on the baby furniture.
