We have Madelyn!!!! After enduring an excrutiating 2 and a half hour wait on the runway in Beijing, we arrived in Nanchang 2 hours late. We immediately went to the Civil Affairs office and got our tired babies who had been waiting for us for hours. Madelyn has been such a beautiful sweetie! She lets everyone hold her and has only cried during her bath. She is so content and happy. Molly has done very well with her, and has had only one "melt-down" when I was holding the baby and couldn't hold her. We all slept well, and woke to another busy adoption day. This morning we went back to the Civil Affairs office and completed her adoption and passport information.
We are still having battery and adaptor problems, but we finally found a three pronged plug for Missy's laptop. She is charging it now, and we hope to post pictures later in the day. We also can't find a hotel employee who speaks English well enough to give us directions on how to call home from our room. Sorry Michael and Matthew!!!!! (We love you!)
We are so blessed! Madelyn is beautiful, happy, and healthy. Molly wants to go home everyday, but she has done so much better than I ever thought possible. Keep praying that we all stay healthy, and that Molly continues to do well.
We miss home very much, and will post more later today or tomorrow!

Yeah! We are so happy your family is complete. We are dying to see a picture of any of you with her. Praise God for little Molly Anne, what a big sister. We love you all so much and can't wait to see you.
Remember, "How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God". You are blessed because he is your help and hope. Jason & Leanna

Hellooooo Strickland's - Thank you so much for keeping us updated (I check everyday). Kristin will be excited to catch up on the news when she gets her computer set up at A&M this weekend. I am praying for you and all the bonding that is going on! May God just give you blessing after blessing for the remainder of your trip. See you soon!
Hey, I just made one of these things so I could say hi. I miss all of you and I can't wait to see you all and Madelyn. Hope ya'll have a great time the rest of the trip.
We've been praying for y'all and are so happy to hear the girls are doing well. Sounds like Matt's a little lonely. We'll have him over for dinner sometime this weekend.
WE are praying for you all and so excited to hear that you have Madeline and that all of you are doing well. Ps 37:4 says, " Delight yourselves in the LORD and He will give you the desires of your heart." I think your family is a picture of this promise from the LORD. We are asking Him to bring you all home safely and in perfect health.
Love, the Randy O'Neals
It's been many months (or years!) since I have spoken with your family, so had no idea what was going on with all of you. After babysitting Michael, Matthew, and Missy when they were just little ones years ago, it was extraordinary today to receive news of your blog and get to catch-up. May God bless you and your family richly. I am so thrilled for all of you. I pray the remainder of your trip is smooth. Your pictures are precious! Much love - Sheryl
